Fluorescent Probes for Disease Diagnosis! A new review article published in Chemical Reviews

Many congratulations to Thorri and Oxana Kotova from the Gunnlaugsson Group, and our collaborator from the School of Chemistry here in TCD, Prof. Eoin Scanlan, on their recent publication. This is a new review article on “Fluorescent Probes for Disease Diagnosis” that has been accepted for publication in the prestigious ACS journal Chemical Reviews (https://doi.org/10.1021/acs.chemrev.3c00776). This comprehensive review, which is published as a part of a special issue on Fluorescent Probes for Biology, that is guest edited by Professor Chris Chang (Princeton University), is the result of a fruitful collaboration between several research groups from TCD and the School of Chemistry at Bath University, College of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Materials Science of the Shandong Universities, and Institutes of Biomedical Sciences of the Shandong Normal University. The work is published as an open access (accessible through the link above) and was supported by several funding agencies; the Gunnlaugsson and Scanlan support coming from both the SFI funded AMBER and the SSPC Research Centres.
